Have you ever asked this question? \u00a0What DOES God want? \u00a0What am I supposed to do to find out? \u00a0How do I do things that are pleasing to Him? \u00a0The lessons for this quarter in our Sunday School class, we will be exploring these questions. \u00a0For the next 13 weeks, we are looking at specific things we can do to please God.<\/p>\n
During the course of this quarter, we will have 4 memory verses. \u00a0 I will be using the Bible in Basic English (BBE) translation for our class. \u00a0I like this translation for the kids, because it uses words they understand. \u00a0Here are the 4 verses:<\/p>\n
Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be pleasing in your eyes, O Lord, my strength and my salvation. Psalm 19:14<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n for the Lord’s view is not man’s; man takes note of the outer form, but the Lord sees the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7b<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n And you are to have love for the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. Mark 12:30<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n I have kept your sayings secretly in my heart, so that I might do no sin against you.
